Coombs Farmer's Institute is happy to announce that we'll be hosting our 6th annual apple pressing event this fall.
This is a great opportunity for the community to turn their fruit into something even more delicious!
Anyone with an abundance of apples or pears is encouraged to drop them off to be pressed into fresh juice by Pressing Matter Mobile Juicer. This year we'll be hosting an extra day of pressing for those early ripening fruit.

Pricing:
- $10.00 per 5-litre 'bag in a box' pasteurized
- Reduced rates for over 50 boxes
- $1.25 per litre, raw pressed
- Please bring your own large, food-safe containers. A minimum size of 1 gallon. We recommend 20 litre food safe pails with lids.
Drop-Off:
- Apples must be dropped off before noon.
- Minimum 150lbs of apples per person (3 laundry baskets).
- Bruised, imperfect fruit & mixed varieties are okay.
